Mobility Drives The Economy-- Providing Transportation Solutions For Southern New Jersey Employers

Employee access to affordable, reliable, and stress-free transportation is a critical element in attracting and retaining a talented workforce. By enhancing employees’ commute options, businesses can reduce turnover rates and save thousands of dollars per re-hire.
Cross County Connection works with local businesses to find environmentally and economically sustainable commute options that are right for their employees – improving morale, increasing productivity, while also providing opportunities to recruit from a new or larger geographic area. Promoting commute options such as mass transit, carpooling, vanpooling, bicycling, walking, telecommuting and flexible scheduling also leads to a cleaner, greener South Jersey, demonstrating a local business’s commitment to creating a better community.

Bicycle Friendly Business Program

One way that CCCTMA makes South Jersey a safer place for cycling is through supporting the League of American Bicyclists’ (LAB) national Bicycle-Friendly Business (BFB) initiative, which recognizes employers that promote a more welcoming atmosphere for bicycling in their communities.
Cross County Connection can help you through the application process by accessing your businesses current bicycle friendly practices and activities and assist with preparing and submitting an application. Joining the over 1,000 businesses on the prestigious list may be easier than you think. Is your business near a bike trail, do you provide bike parking, or promote bicycling within your workplace and community? You could be a perfect fit!
In 2021, CCCTMA was recognized as South Jersey’s first-ever Bicycle-Friendly Business, and we would like our fellow South Jersey businesses join the 1,400+ BFBs nationally on this prestigious list! With so few BFBs in this part of the Garden State, receiving this recognition would be a great opportunity for businesses that encourage a more welcoming atmosphere for bicycling employees, customers, and the community to distinguish themselves, both locally and nationally.
LAB solicits applications three times a year – Spring, Summer and Fall so there is plenty of time to get started! Find out more information on the BFB website and contact Cross County Connection at (856) 596-8228 or ccctma@driveless.com.
