Anya Saretzky is the Senior Sustainable Transportation Planner at Cross County Connection TMA. She started with the organization in March of 2025 and is passionate about working to improve the quality of life of South Jersey residents by making sustainable transportation access convenient, safe and affordable. Previously, Anya worked at Rails to Trails Conservancy, where she played a key role in expanding the Circuit Trails network in the greater Philadelphia region. Her work focused on advocacy, coalition building, infrastructure development and encouraging trail use to create more connected and accessible communities. She holds a degree in Sociology from The College of New Jersey and a Masters in Environmental Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. While she enjoyed many years of car-free living, she recently purchased a neon green EV named Lenore. Outside of the professional arena, you can find her at the skating arena, training for her next figure skating competition.
