Cindy joined Cross County Connection in August 2023 as the new transportation planner. Her career interest in transportation policy stems from being a cyclist on the roads of Philadelphia and encountering the dangerous roads presented by a car centric world. She aims to combat transportation injustice in the most disinvested and marginalized neighborhoods and is an advocate for public transit and pedestrian and cyclist infrastructure.
Originally from Montgomery County, PA she went to Temple University to study political science as her undergraduate major and then obtained her master’s at Temple studying Public Policy with a focus on transportation planning and policy.
Outside of her work in transportation planning, she loves to skateboard in Philadelphia and crochet/ design clothes in her free time. And when she’s at home she loves to hang out with her pet bunny named Kite.
